The role emphasizes CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes orchestration, SLURM/HPC, and data pipelines supporting multimodal datasets and large language model workflows, with onsite work three days per week in Indianapolis or San Diego.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software, DevOps, data, or ML engineering.
• 3+ years in production-grade MLOps.
• Strong Python and ML framework experience.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ML infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines for model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Orchestrate compute across Kubernetes clusters and HPC environments to optimize training utilization.
• Develop data pipelines to deliver ML-ready datasets from biological sources (PDB, mmCIF, sequences).
• Create tools/frameworks for protein language and generative models.
• Architect systems scaling across distributed environments for multimodal data.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for reliable, cost-efficient production ML systems.
