Job summary

SNC is hiring a Data Engineer II to oversee data pipelines and transformations feeding AI/ML systems across the platform. You will collaborate with the AI/LLM Platform team and other engineers to ensure robust data solutions, while mentoring junior engineers and enforcing engineering best practices.

The role requires strong Python and SQL skills, experience with Airflow/dbt/Prefect, and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS/data eng or related field.
• 2+ years in data engineering or related role; higher degree may substitute.
• Experience with SQL and ETL/orchestration tools (Airflow/dbt/Prefect).
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP clouds and data warehouses (e.g., Redshift).

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and development of data pipelines and transformations feeding AI/ML systems.
• Collaborate with AI/LLM Platform and other teams to meet data/model requirements.
• Mentor junior data engineers and enforce best practices.
• Implement data integration, management, and quality solutions including experiment tracking and model registry systems.
