Job summary

Hayden AI is seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer to lead the design and evolution of our machine learning platform within the Perception Deep Learning team. You will enable teams to build, deploy, and scale AI systems with reliability and speed, partnering with perception, deep learning and platform engineers to craft infrastructure for training and operationalizing models.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python and related tooling ecosystem; strong Linux skills.
• Experience with cloud/infrastructure and MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, deploy, and operate scalable cloud-based MLOps platforms and workflows for training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of AI/ML models.
• Own the technical strategy and evolution of ML infrastructure; improve developer productivity, experimentation velocity, scalability, and efficiency.
• Build robust, automated systems enabling teams to ship models rapidly while upholding quality, reproducibility, observability, security, and production reliability.
• Define infrastructure optimization strategies balancing performance, scalability, reliability, and cost across cloud resources.
• Evaluate emerging tools and drive adoption to improve ML development and production workflows.
• Establish engineering best practices for ML infrastructure including design, code quality, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship; lead design/code reviews to raise engineering quality.
• Collaborate with ML researchers, data engineers, and product teams to translate requirements into scalable infra solutions.
• Drive complex infrastructure projects from strategy through deployment and ownership.
