Job summary

AmeriSave Mortgage Corp. is seeking a Licensing Specialist to join our dedicated licensing team. You will manage end-to-end licensing for Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) in the NMLS and ensure accurate, timely filings across states.

You’ll monitor pre-licensing education, background checks, and CE requirements while maintaining up-to-date records, answering inquiries, and supporting compliance in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end licensing process for all Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) within the NMLS.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all NMLS filings related to MLO licensing, including new applications, renewals, and amendments.
• Monitor and track MLO pre-licensing education, testing requirements, and background checks to ensure compliance.
• Manage the MLO license renewal process, ensuring all requirements are met before deadlines to avoid lapses.
• Track and ensure MLO compliance with continuing education requirements in all applicable states.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for MLOs regarding licensing inquiries and provide clear and timely communication.
• Proactively identify and resolve any licensing issues or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all MLO licenses, sponsorships and related documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned, based on competencies and experience.
