Meta is seeking a Research Scientist to advance foundational AI/ML technologies at scale. You will conduct original research in deep learning, representation learning, generative modeling, and large-scale architectures, collaborating with researchers and engineers to translate findings into real-world impact.

You will publish at top venues, design experiments, and help shape the direction of ML research within Meta.

Qualifications

Original research in core ML areas with strong experimental validation.

Responsibilities

Conduct original research in deep learning, representation learning, and large-scale models.
Design, implement, and evaluate novel ML algorithms using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Run controlled experiments and analyze outcomes with partners across teams.
Write clean research code and ensure reproducibility of experiments.
Publish findings at top-tier ML conferences and workshops.
Collaborate with research, engineering, and product teams to deploy innovations.
Participate in code/design reviews and provide technical feedback.
Build logging and evaluation pipelines to track model performance.
Engage in community activities like reading groups and onboarding.
