Job summary

Genesis Molecular AI is seeking a PhD candidate to join as a research intern on generative modeling for molecular systems. You will collaborate with a world-class team to advance foundation models at scale, exploring diffusion, RL, and multi-modal learning.

You will work under a mentor, design experiments, and present findings. This is a hands-on role at the frontier of AI and biochemistry, with direct impact on drug discovery.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, ML, or related fields.
• Creative researcher with a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and related areas.
• First-principles thinker passionate about open-ended scientific problems.
• Curious about AI and biochemistry and drug discovery processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a novel research project from ideation to conclusion in generative or predictive AI for molecular systems.
• Push the research frontier by studying foundation models, diffusion, RL, and testing hypotheses at scale.
• Design and run experiments at scale to validate approaches and hypotheses.
• Present your work to the team and contribute insights to the broader research agenda.
