Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to drive software projects from start to finish.
• Comfortable digesting research from PL and/or ML venues.
• Progress with a high degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Translate research ideas into scalable high-quality code.
• Engage in programming language design/implementation.
• Performance engineering and scaling research code.
• Develop algorithms.
• Publish and present findings in journals and conferences.

Skills

Excellent programming and software engineering

Experience with Julia, Python, C++, ML-family languages

Probabilistic programming and statistical inference

Education

PhD in statistics, programming languages, machine learning, or similar
