Job summary

Xaira Therapeutics, Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Software Engineer for the Platform team to design, build, and deploy the AI infrastructure powering our research.

You will collaborate with AI Scientists and engineers to enable GPUs for training and inference of large biology-focused foundation models. You will tackle ML infrastructure, including MLOps for GPU clusters, backend APIs, and data storage throughput.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, ML, Computational Biology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve model training system dispatching distributed training jobs.
• Deploy storage subsystems to improve dataset management and throughput for training datasets.
• Build evaluation infrastructure for easy execution and tracking.
• Build base tooling for integrating model training with telemetry, experiment tracking, and checkpointing.
• Lab exposure and learning opportunities are provided.
