Job summary

PathAI in Boston is offering an Intern/Co-op to embed within our AI product and ML Core teams. You will contribute to real, impactful ML work that informs our roadmap and business goals.

You will design, build, and evaluate ML models, work on roadmap-driven subprojects, and partner with MLOps and platform teams to improve pipelines. Fall 2026/Winter 2027, 3–6 months, US remote option with onsite 3 days/week preferred.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an MS or PhD program in CS, EE or BME with CV/ML focus.
• Strong programming skills in Python and hands-on ML frameworks.
• Solid understanding of ML fundamentals and/or computer vision.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams.
• Passion to improve patient lives through AI.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development and evaluation of ML models for AI products and services.
• Work on subprojects from the ML product roadmap and nonce novel techniques.
• Collaborate with MLOps and platform teams to improve ML pipelines.
• Participate in experimental design, analysis, and knowledge-sharing activities.
