Job summary

XPO is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer in Boston to develop data prep tooling and ML infrastructure for training, evaluation, and deployment. The role collaborates with data science and data engineering to productionize models and maintain robust data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field; equivalent experience
• 1 year of experience in software or ML engineering; hands-on data pipelines or ML infra
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with cloud data/ML platforms (AWS, GCP, BigQuery)
• Strong collaboration with data science/applied science and data engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data preparation and validation tooling for high-quality ML inputs
• Design and implement ML infrastructure for training, evaluation, and deployment
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML models with automated testing
• Implement model monitoring, drift detection, and feedback loops in production
• Collaborate with data scientists to productionize models
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure reliable data pipelines
• Contribute to shared MLOps tooling and best practices across the organization
