Sony Interactive Entertainment is hiring a Quality Engineer for its Machine Learning Platform team to build, test, and deploy scalable ML services for millions of users. You’ll develop automated test strategies, collaborate with ML engineers, and help ensure robust production readiness in a dynamic, cross‑functional environment.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in software quality engineering, strong test frameworks, and experience with AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or SDET roles
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or Go

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test automation for in‑house Inference Service and ML platform components
• Design and implement integration, regression, and performance test strategies for new releases
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD test pipelines
• Collaborate with ML engineering and platform teams to define acceptance criteria and validate productionization of ML models
• Create and maintain performance and load testing suites to verify inference service scalability and latency requirements
• Develop and track quality metrics, defect trends, and test coverage reports
• Participate in design and architecture reviews to identify testability concerns and quality risks
• Contribute to improving team testing practices, tooling, and processes for MLOps
