Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is seeking an expert machine learning engineer to design and optimize large-scale recommender and ranking systems for merchants and creators, focusing on real-time modeling and high-quality content. The role emphasizes data-driven strategies to improve monetization and shopping experience.

The position requires on-site collaboration across teams, a strong background in ML tools, and experience with Python/C++.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Strong programming and problem-solving ability.
Familiar with algorithms like Collaborative Filtering, Matrix Factorization, Factorization Machines, Word2vec, Logistic Regression, Gradient Boosting Trees, Deep Neural Networks, Wide and Deep, GBDT, LTR, Word2vec, DIN, Deep&Wide.
Experience with at least one programming language like C++/Python or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Build and design large-scale machine learning algorithms to model real-time interests of creators to improve conversion efficiency.
Optimize TikTok's massive commodity relationship mining and ranking and recall of creators' product recommendations, improving GMV.
Analyze behavior of creators and merchants to build targeted algorithm strategies to empower them and boost monetization.
Support rapid development of TikTok's e-commerce business, serve millions of merchants, and promote healthy ecosystem development.
