Job summary

TikTok in San Jose seeks an intern to contribute to the Lead Ads team, delivering large-scale ads with a focus on relevance models and ranking strategies. You will gain hands-on experience in a billion-dollar ads business while learning in a fast-paced environment.

Work with NLP, ML models, and data-driven optimization. Collaborate with product managers to define features, participate in end-to-end development, and expand your knowledge of online advertising systems.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or above degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Solid programming skills in Go, C/C++, Python; familiar with data structures and algorithms.
• Familiar with Linux development environment and ML concepts (CNN/RNN/LSTM).

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of a large-scale Ads system.
• Work on relevance model and strategy optimization, including semantic matching and ranking.
• Develop Ads algorithms with Machine Learning, NLP capabilities, and CTR/CVR modeling.
• Collaborate with product managers to define product features and strategy.
