Job summary

Indeed is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to develop and deploy predictive models and genAI capabilities that power our products.

You will explore data to define problem statements, build and optimize machine learning models, and monitor their performance in production environments. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, you will integrate ML solutions into products and stay at the forefront of AI research to improve recommendations and user engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Math/Stats or related field; 5+ years experience or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Proven ability to deploy ML solutions to large-scale production systems.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Experience with Deep Learning libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable ML models and real-time recommendation systems.
• Experiment with POC ML improvements and scale to production.
• Mentor engineers, data scientists, and ML engineers in the team.
• Break down larger ML initiatives into deliverable pieces that deliver value.
• Represent Indeed at major ML conferences like NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR.
