Job summary

Amazon Music is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer II to join the MusicIQ team in Seattle. You will advance scalable ML systems used in catalog serving and content intelligence, working with Applied Scientists and partner teams to deliver reliable, cost-efficient platforms for both offline processing and real-time experiences.

You will shape data pipelines, deploy models to production, and help enhance core ML infrastructure for tagging and similarity tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for complex systems.
• 1+ years with large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software.
• 1+ years programming in at least one language.

Responsibilities

• Enhance ML infrastructure for tagging music content and improve similarity.
• Collaborate with researchers to deploy scalable ML models to production.
• Prototype new technologies and evaluate feasibility (AutoML, real-time serving).
• Design data pipelines for massive datasets and scalable ML models.
• Develop platforms for building, evaluating, and deploying ML models.
