Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience with 2 years in ML.
• Experience building production-grade ML systems and scalable infrastructure.
• Ability to collaborate with researchers, clinicians, and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build training and inference infrastructure with experiment tracking and benchmarking.
• Design scalable AI systems for retrieval, ranking, categorization, and generative AI over large healthcare data.
• End-to-end AI/ML system development from problem framing to deployment.
• Define scalable, explainable AI architectures and governance.
• Establish evaluation datasets, metrics, and validation tied to real outcomes.
• Design ranking models to route work between AI agents and humans.
• Create feedback loops to improve model performance in production.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, clinicians, and operators to deliver measurable value.
• Prototype and scale new AI capabilities from 0 to 1 and harden for production.
• Mentor other AI/ML engineers and promote best practices.
