Job summary

TikTok Search Ads is seeking talented engineers to push the boundaries of monetization across our apps, including TikTok and other platforms. You will work on scalable storage, NLP, ranking, and IR related challenges to optimize ad delivery and performance.

You will collaborate with product managers to shape product strategy, implement advanced ML models, and enhance search relevance, pacing, and experiment frameworks to maximize ROI for our global user base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (CS/Software/Engineering).
• Strong grounding in machine learning concepts and techniques.
• Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in Go/C/C++/Python.
• Experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, MXNet, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop a large-scale Ads system and improve relevance models and strategies.
• Advance NLP capabilities and query understanding (classification, seq2seq, NER, knowledge graphs).
• Improve CTR/CVR model accuracy, data analysis, modeling, and feature engineering.
• Research and develop Ads pacing algorithms and traffic control.
• Collaborate with PMs to define product strategy and features.
• Contribute to optimization of ad formats, creative display, and ROI.
