Skyline Scientific Inc. seeks a Computer Engineer to develop Python-based software for sensor data, ML workflows, and simulation tools supporting national security missions.

You will work with scientists and engineers to translate requirements into executable workflows, design modular architectures, and ensure code quality across Windows and Linux environments, including secure spaces. Strong coding, collaboration, and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of algorithm development or ML workflow support.
• Programming experience for software development, data processing, automation, analysis, or algorithm implementation.
• Ability to create logical software architecture from technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based software for scientific, analytical, simulation, automation, ML, and operational applications.
• Collaborate with sensor experts, scientists, ML specialists, and analysts to translate concepts into software requirements and workflows.
• Create clear software architecture, block diagrams, and documentation for maintainability and transitions.
• Test, integrate, troubleshoot, and optimize algorithms and data pipelines into deployable packages.
• Manage, maintain, and optimize Git repositories.
