Job summary

nou Systems, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our R&D division focused on AI/ML applications for missile defense and related domains. You will deploy, scale, and standardize ML development workflows supporting SBIR/STTR projects, while ensuring secure deployment in DoD-restricted environments.

You will architect and maintain GPU-capable pipelines, build CI/CD with GitLab, and collaborate with ML researchers, software engineers, and cybersecurity teams to productionize prototypes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field.
• 4 years DevOps experience including GPU-accelerated workloads.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain modern ML development pipelines.
• Collaborate with multiple research teams to develop, test, and deploy ML capabilities.
• Build and maintain GPU-capable development environments and containerized workflows.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, linting, and deployment.
• Enforce GitLab merge request policies and code quality standards.
• Create scripts and configs to streamline setup and remote development.
• Document standardized ML development practices across teams.
• Support secure deployment of ML solutions in DoD-restricted environments.
• Contribute to SBIR/STTR project execution and proposal development.
