Job summary

Welocalize is seeking a candidate with a foundation in machine learning, data annotation and NLP to support updating ML models and ensuring their efficacy. The role centers on creating, annotating, and validating data for English US datasets, and contributing to model quality throughout development.

You will train models using internal tools and CLI, design training datasets, perform error analysis, and report findings to the UX team to help improve translation workflows and content solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Science, Linguistics, or related field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Update training and test model databases with synthetic data.
• Initiate model training and evaluate performance for deployment.
• Design and develop test and training datasets per project criteria.
• Conduct manual quality analysis of model results and report anomalies.
• Apply basic NLP knowledge to data processing and ensure linguistic accuracy.
