Job summary

Trilyon, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Python engineer to build the data backbone behind our AI research. You will create agentic pipelines that turn raw spatial and research data into high-quality, analysis-ready datasets and you will run human annotation workflows that keep our models improving.

This is a hybrid role that combines engineering, data quality, and cross-team collaboration. You will work with researchers and a distributed team, including overlaps with an India-based rating group, to

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Python engineer to build the data backbone behind our AI research. You'll create agentic pipelines that turn raw spatial and research data into high-quality, analysis-ready datasets, and you'll run the human annotation workflows that keep our models improving. This is a hybrid role that combines engineering, data quality, and cross-team collaboration.

What You'll Do

• Build agentic pipelines for data processing, analysis, and visualization


• Develop tools for model analysis and debugging


• Clean, structure, and catalog raw spatial and research datasets to ensure high data quality


• Partner with researchers to deliver processed data outputs


• Work with our team in India (some odd-hour overlap) to set task expectations, enqueue and dequeue annotation jobs, review annotation quality, and give feedback to the rating team

What You Bring

• Strong Python skills, with experience building tools, scripts, and web UIs for data collection, annotation, and processing


• Solid data science and engineering background: data quality verification, data pipelines, visualization, and analysis


• Experience running human studies or surveys


• Excellent communication skills, able to discuss technical designs with researchers and engineers and explain annotation guidelines to non-technical raters

Nice to Have

• Experience evaluating VLMs or multimodal GenAI models (image and video generation)


• Familiarity with annotation platforms, rater management, or vendor workflows
