Job summary

KLA Corporation is seeking a highly skilled ML/DL engineer to advance machine learning and computer vision initiatives within the LS-SWIFT division. You will develop and deploy algorithms for image and signal processing, driving impact across wafer inspection and manufacturing analytics.

Collaborating with software, systems, and field engineers, you will design robust models, optimize performance, and contribute to scalable, maintainable solutions in a fast-growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's with related work experience in ML/DL, computer vision, or image processing.
• Experience training, validating, and deploying ML/DL models in production environments.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Python, with OO/functional design.
• Ability to design model architectures and optimize performance for real-world constraints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on ambiguous, open-ended challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize advanced ML/DL algorithms for complex image and signal processing tasks.
• Own algorithm development from concept to production deployment.
• Invent and evaluate novel computer vision approaches for real-world datasets.
• Analyze system performance, debug issues, and improve robustness and accuracy in production.
• Collaborate with software, systems, applications, and field engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and improve algorithm performance, scalability, and maintainability.
