Sedgwick is seeking a senior data scientist to partner with stakeholders, design data models, and develop predictive analytics. The role involves building production ML models, ETL pipelines, and driving data-informed decisions across healthcare-related datasets.
Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of experience in predictive analytics, strong Python/R skills, and a proven ability to communicate complex results to diverse teams.
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To partner with stakeholders to identify, scope, and execute advanced analytics and data science projects; to design data modeling processes, create algorithms, and predictive models; and to share insights that inform and enable business decisions.
Master’s degree or Ph.D. with major in statistics, mathematics, computer science, data science, economics, or related quantitative field from an accredited college or university preferred.
Ten (10) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience to include three (3) years of predictive modeling, data science, and analysis experience with solid background in the using data visualization tools and libraries and data exploration, data wrangling, and feature engineering. Experience with natural language processing and healthcare data preferred.

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is ($175,000 - $220,000). A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
