Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Design, architecture, procurement, build, integration, and certification of VTBs and avionics emulators.
  • Assess and upgrade HIL/VTB infrastructure to meet evolving requirements.
  • Maintain harness diagrams and ensure configuration control throughout lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with vehicle teams to define test requirements and execute system tests.
  • Support avionics checkout and problem resolution, ensuring system performance.

To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of engineers and technicians, you will design and build the systems for Blue Origin Lunar Landers Vehicle Test Bed (VTB)/ Hardware in the loop (HIL) systems. The VTBs/HILs will be used to ensure the correctness and performance of the vehicle avionics software, interfaces between the subsystems and other space vehicles/systems. You will also design and build the emulators for the test bed. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention.
