Job summary

Continental Group Sector ContiTech in New York is seeking a factory operator to set up and run mixing equipment, ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will work in a self-directed team, lift and move materials, and participate in training and shift rotations as needed. This role offers full-time hours at a manufacturing facility with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must regularly lift up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Be able to use stairs and work in a safe manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment to safely produce quality compounds in the mixing areas.
• Control the quality of compounds throughout production; contact QA if needed.
• Train others within the mixing department and provide feedback to trainees and team leads.
• Work in a self-directed team, attend meetings and participate in special projects.
• Maintain hygiene of mixing areas and perform routine housekeeping.
