Job description

We are searching for a Mixing Operator for our Greeley, CO, location. This role is critical to maintaining our high standards in production and ensuring our products meet quality and safety standards. As part of our team, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending to machines that mix ingredients, working collaboratively to meet tight schedules and deadlines in a safe and efficient manner.

• First shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
• Full-time position, with potential for some overtime and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read work orders and batch specifications to ensure proper ingredient selection and product conformance.
• Weigh, measure, and blend ingredients by operating mixing and batching equipment according to production requirements.
• Monitor mixing processes, machine settings, and equipment performance to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operation.
• Collect product samples and perform quality checks to verify batch accuracy and compliance with production standards.
• Use forklifts or other equipment to transfer raw materials and ingredients to mixing and production equipment.
• Clear jammed materials or obstructions from machinery and assist with basic troubleshooting to maintain production flow.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while adhering to safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance to support production schedules, operational efficiency, and team performance.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, bend, and climb frequently during an 8-hour shift.
• General mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety.
• Basic computer skills for operational tasks.
• Knowledge of production and plant processes preferred.

Minimum Experience & Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing facility or similar production role preferred.
• 1+ year of machine operation experience preferred.
• Basic computer and mechanical skills preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Work environment includes a non-climate-controlled warehouse production facility, with frequent proximity to moving mechanical parts, product irritants/allergens, airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions.
• Occasionally, tasks may involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and amidst moderate noise levels.
• Please be aware that while our products contain nuts and peppers, the production environment may also contain grain dust, all which could affect individuals with allergies.

Position Information:

• This position pays $17.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience.
