Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a mixer to join our Akron facility. The role focuses on feeding raw materials, weighing ingredients, and batching to match preset formulas for nutritional supplements.

You will operate tanks, mixers, scales, and pumps, while ensuring safety procedures are followed. Responsibilities include QA checks, documentation, and communicating batch completion to production. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods and handle heavy objects up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Pour raw materials into tanks and measure ingredients.
• Monitor and control the mixing process according to formulas.
• Test/quality assurance of tank materials and finished batches.
• Clean equipment, tanks, and vessels as needed and maintain cleanliness.
• Record batch data and complete all documentation accurately.

Job SummaryThe mixer is responsible for ensuring the food safety program is followed and works to combine ingredients to create nutritional supplements based on preset formulas. Your duties include sourcing materials, weighing each element, batching correctly, and ensuring the proper ratios in the final product.ResponsibilitiesPour raw materials into tankMeasure raw materialsMonitor mixing processTest/quality assurance of tank materialsCleaning all equipment , tanks, and vessels as needed.Observe and follow safety procedures and S.O.P’s set by the company.Transfer finished product into drums, and totes to complete orders.Weigh ingredients for batching.Make sure all ingredients returned to inventory have weights and are cleaned.Set up and monitor all mixing tanks, vessels, and mixers.Obtain and understand all documentation for batching products.Operate all equipment including tanks, mixers, scales, meters, pump, etc.Complete all paperwork and batch documentation in a timely manner.Communicate with production when batches are complete and ready to fill.Other duties as assignedJob RequirementsWilling and eagerness to learnStrong work ethicComfortable utilizing a computerPhysical RequirementsStanding for prolonged periods.Moving about to accomplish tasks.Communicating with others to exchange information.Repeating motions that may include the shoulders, arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers.Working in areas subject to low/high temperatures, noise, poor ventilation, and/or hazardous conditions.Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 75 pounds.
