Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is hiring a Mixer for the Ogden Plant to operate on the 6:30 am–3:00 pm shift. You will mix dough ingredients, monitor quality and sanitation, and work closely with QA and maintenance on the production line.

This full-time role requires a HS diploma or GED, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior production experience is preferred, and the company emphasizes safety, teamwork, and career development.

Qualifications

  • Education: HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Experience: Production or production line work preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Keep ingredients properly stored and staged.
  • Mix ingredients into a dough mix according to specs.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
  • Move dough to the extruder area as needed.
  • Read and follow specifications to prepare dough.
  • Operate the dough mixer control panel.
  • Use thermometer, scale, water meter, and hopper to check ingredients.
  • Perform basic math calculations as needed.
  • Adhere to food safety, quality, and defense standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
  • Keep the ingredients properly stored and staged.
  • Mix the various ingredients into a dough mix.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary area.
  • Assist in the movement of dough to the extruder area.
  • Read and follow specifications to prepare dough.
  • Operate computerized panel for dough mixer.
  • Use analytical equipment (thermometer, scale, water meter, hopper ) to check ingredients.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Responsible for food safety, food quality and food defense.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain personal cleanliness
  • Follow proper safety practices
  • Waste food rotation (clean-up and removal)
Working Relationship:

Necessary to work as a team supporting and communicating properly with the other members of the production line team. Works with QA and maintenance departments.

Supervision :

Does not supervise anyone.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
  • Be able to lift ingredient packages on a regular basis that weigh up to 50 lbs.
  • Push and guide dough tote bins.
  • Able to work on feet for the entire 8 hour shift. During busy season may be required to work 12 hour shifts

Important D etails: T his is a full - time permanent role on 1st shift, which operates from 6 :30 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday with some Saturdays.

Pay:

Starting at $27.95/Hr.

  • Education: Minimum requirement of a HS Diploma or GED
  • Experience : Minimum experience in production or production line of work.
