Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is hiring for a Mixer at the Ogden plant on the day shift. The role focuses on dough preparation, ingredient handling, and maintaining sanitary, safe production lines. You will operate a dough mixer, read specifications, and assist with dough movements to ensure continuous line performance.

Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Keep the ingredients properly stored and staged.

  • Mix the various ingredients into a dough mix.

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary area.

  • Assist in the movement of dough to the extruder area.

  • Read and follow specifications to prepare dough.

  • Operate computerized panel for dough mixer.

  • Use analytical equipment (thermometer, scale, water meter, hopper) to check ingredients.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Responsible for food safety, food quality and food defense.

  • Other duties as assigned

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain personal cleanliness

  • Follow proper safety practices

  • Waste food rotation (clean-up and removal)

Working Relationship:
  • Necessary to work as a team supporting and communicating properly with the other members of the production line team.

  • Works with QA and maintenance departments.

  • Critical that the dough is mixed properly to maintain good quality and that the dough is mixed in a timely fashion so that the line does not experience down time as a result of either running out of dough or creating a bad batch of dough.

Supervision:
  • Does not supervise anyone.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Be able to lift ingredient packages on a regular basis that weigh up to 50 lbs.

  • Push and guide dough tote bins.

  • Able to work on feet for the entire 8 hour shift. During busy season may be required to work 12 hour shifts

Important Details:

This is a full-time permanent role on 1st shift, which operates from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday with some Saturdays.

Pay:

Starting at $27.95/Hr.

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills
  • Education: Minimum requirement of a HS Diploma or GED

  • Experience: Minimum experience in production or production line of work.
