Position Summary

The mixer plays a vital role in preparing and mixing slime for exhibits, events, and guest experiences. This role blends creativity, customer service, and product knowledge to deliver high‑quality, enjoyable slime experiences that captivate visitors.

Responsibilities

• Mix and prepare different types of slime according to Sloomoo’s recipes and specifications, ensuring consistency, texture, and product quality.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining slime‑related exhibits and installations, and keep materials stocked and ready for visitor engagement.
• Regularly inspect slime supplies for quality and safety, and troubleshoot any issues with consistency or guest satisfaction.
• Support organization of slime‑making events, workshops, and special activities, providing hands‑on assistance to groups and ensuring smooth execution.
• Adhere to safety protocols when handling materials and equipment and maintain a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for guests.
• Track and log the number of batches, clays, scents, pigments, and other raw materials.
• Complete daily/weekly logs of slime materials and fill out the required sheets.
• Conduct routine checks of slimes throughout the exhibit to ensure quality, texture, and presentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly throughout the shift.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing, pulling, and moving heavy materials and equipment.
• Remain on feet for extended periods in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Maintain constant movement between workstations to support workflow efficiency.
• Assist with transporting bulk ingredients, slime batches, and production supplies safely and efficiently.
• Support overall warehouse‑style and hands‑on manufacturing operations requiring stamina and strength.
• Climb ladders to access and retrieve products stored at height.

Qualifications

• Work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on production environment and enjoy creative tactile experiences.
• Follow detailed slime recipes and instructions with precision to achieve consistent, high‑quality products.
• Previous experience in recipe‑based production environments is strongly preferred, including:
  • Specialty coffee shops or craft beverage programs
  • Bakeries, pastry shops, or cookie production
  • Smoothie, juice, or specialty beverage preparation
  • Food, beverage, cosmetic, or manufacturing environments requiring precise measuring, mixing, and batch production
  • Any specialized role where consistency, quality control, and recipe adherence are critical
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and quality standards.
• Comfortable with hands‑on materials, lifting boxes or supplies, and standing for extended periods.
• Experience with inventory tracking, batch logs, production records, or quality control processes is a plus.
• Candidates from highly automated, assembly‑line food service environments may be less aligned with this role; we seek individuals who create products from recipes, formulas, or specialized preparation processes.
• Minimum age: 18 years.
