Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Mixer for our 3rd shift in Hanover, PA. You will produce product by mixing ingredients, inspect for defects, and ensure proper dough temperatures and speeds on conveyors and cutters.

The role includes resolving production issues, performing sanitation tasks, and maintaining adherence to specifications in a food manufacturing setting. This is a full-time, night shift position offering an hourly rate with differential.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask.
  • The ability to work overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Produces product by mixing raw materials and automatically transporting the dough to the conveyor lines.
  • Performs visual inspection of product to identify out of specification looking for physical characteristics that indicate product is out of specification.
  • Performing weight checks, checking and recording dough temperatures, checking and adjusting cutter speeds, collecting test samples, and adjusting mixer speed.
  • Resolving production problems by adjusting processes to meet specifications; and communicating with oven room supervisor and Oven Operators to resolve issues or obtain maintenance for mechanical assistance.
  • Performs sanitation duties according to daily, shift or shutdown schedule.

Job Description
About the Role

  • Performs visual inspection of product to identify out of specification looking for physical characteristics that indicate product is out of specification. For example: misshapen pretzels, holes, low dough, riders and others.
  • Performing weight checks, checking and recording dough temperatures, checking and adjusting cutter speeds, collecting test samples, and adjusting mixer speed.
  • Resolving production problems by adjusting processes to meet specifications; and communicating with oven room supervisor and Oven Operators to resolve issues or obtain maintenance for mechanical assistance.
  • Performs sanitation duties according to daily, shift or shutdown schedule.
Important Details

This is a full-time permanent role on 3rd Shift, from 11:00p to 7:00a Monday through Friday with some Saturdays. The Hourly rate for this role is $22.12/hr shift differential included.
