This position is available on a full-time or part-time basis and offers the opportunity to work across both small animal and large animal medicine while maintaining a flexible and balanced schedule.

Provide high-quality medical and surgical care to small and large animal patients
Diagnose and manage a varied mixed animal caseload
Perform routine preventative care, examinations, and diagnostic investigations
Participate in farm and livestock visits where required
Provide herd health and preventative medicine advice
Perform appropriate surgical and dental procedures based on experience
Develop clear and practical treatment plans
Communicate effectively and compassionately with animal owners
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records
Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians and fellow clinicians
Participate in shared large animal emergency coverage as required
Continue developing clinical skills through mentorship and continuing education
Applicants should hold a DVM or equivalent veterinary degree and be licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practise veterinary medicine in Kentucky.
Previous mixed or large animal experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
