We care for horses, cattle, pigs, and pets like dogs and cats, offering a range of procedures and therapies while maintaining high client service standards. Training provided; growth opportunities in mixed animal medicine.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NAVTA-approved Veterinary Assistant program preferred.
• One year of experience in a pet care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and surgery areas between appointments.
• Obtain patient information, medical histories, and vaccination records; document updates.
• Calm and restrain pets during procedures and examinations.
• Educate owners on pet care and post-visit instructions.
• Monitor vital signs and post-surgical recovery.
• Assist with basic health checks and routine lab tests under supervision.
• Maintain clean, organized cages, pens, and boarding areas.
