Job summary

Cobb Veterinary Clinic, a full-service mixed animal hospital serving Midland, Odessa, Greenwood and Stanton, is seeking a veterinarian to join our two-doctor team. We are offering a $75,000 sign-on bonus and a competitive compensation package.

We welcome DVMs of all experience levels; strong emphasis on small-animal care with surgery opportunities, and room to grow a large-animal caseload if desired. Our modern facility features digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy and in-house lab.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from AVMA-accredited institution.
• Active state veterinary license or eligibility.
• Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Professional and courteous client interaction.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; assist with heavier loads.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose disease or injuries.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and collect samples; interpret results.
• Advise owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed.
• Counsel on end-of-life care; maintain medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and laws.
