Job summary

AmeriVet's Elk Park Animal Hospital in Pagosa Springs, CO, is seeking a DVM-driven veterinarian to join a busy mixed-practice team. You will provide exceptional medical care and surgery, collaborate with skilled techs and staff, and mentor junior doctors as part of a supportive network.

We offer a base salary of $150-175k+ with quarterly production bonuses, a $30k+ sign-on, 401(k) with match, generous CE allowance and licensing support, relocation aid, and a strong emphasis on work-life balance

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent from an accredited university is required.
• Compassionate, client-centered approach to care.
• Strong communication and client-education skills.
• Experience with clinic leadership and/or mentorship to take on MD role.

About Our Clinic

Elk Park Animal Hospital, a longstanding community fixture, is one of the largest and busiest facilities in the area. With over 3,700 sq. ft. of organized indoor space featuring three exam rooms, we offer essential services five days a week, including on-call and mobile assistance for large animals and emergencies. Our comprehensive services encompass digital radiology, cold laser therapy, orthopedic surgery, dentistry, cutting-edge diagnostics, and a complete pharmacy. We also provide Chinese medicine, acupuncture, physical therapy, and herbal medicine.
