Job summary

The Neurology Department at the University of Washington invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, with an anticipated start date of July, 2027. The successful candidate will contribute to clinical and research growth of the Program for Mitochondrial Medicine and Metabolism in the Division of Pediatric Neurology and Seattle Children’s Research Institute.

All UW faculty are expected to engage in teaching, research, and service.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent required.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Washington state required.
• Certification or eligibility for ABPN in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology or foreign equivalent required.
• For H-1B visa sponsorship, completion of all three USMLE steps or equivalent must be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the clinical and research growth of the Program for Mitochondrial Medicine and Metabolism in the Division of Pediatric Neurology and Seattle Children’s Research Institute.
• Engage in teaching, research, and service as a UW faculty member.
