Job summary

TCM Restoration and Cleaning, an American restoration brand, is seeking a Mitigation Technician to join our field teams. You will work on job sites, assist customers during property damage events, and help with cleanup, debris removal, and containment setup.

Daily tasks include documenting progress in our Project Management software, coordinating with supervisors, and following project scopes. This is a full-time role with on-call every third week, requiring physical strength and ability to wear

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Must wear PPE on all job sites.
• Full-time position (40 hours weekly).
• ON-CALL every 3 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Remove debris such as dust, drywall, and construction waste.
• Demolish in areas designated by Mitigation Lead/Manager.
• Prepare work areas, stage equipment and containment.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members for progress and issues.
• Follow project scopes and perform assigned mitigation tasks.
• Complete end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup to leave site orderly.
• Document progress, photos, and updates in Project Management software.

The role of Mitigation Technician requires professionalism, prompt response, attention to detail, and strong communication as you assist customers during stressful property damage situations.

Responsibilities

This position is primarily field based, working on job sites and assisting customers directly. Typical tasks include:

• Removing debris such as dust, drywall material, and construction waste


• Performing demolition in areas designated by Mitigation Lead and/or Manager


• Preparing work areas, including staging equipment and setting up containment as needed


• Communicating with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient job progress and alerting the office when issues arise


• Following project scopes and performing assigned mitigation tasks


• Completing end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup, ensuring the jobsite is left clean and orderly


• Documenting job progress, photos, and updates in our Project Management software(s)


• BEING ON-CALL every 3 weeks

Position Requirements and Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.


• Ability to wear required PPE on all job sites


• Demolition experience preferred, but not required


• IICRC certifications (WRT/FSRT/AMRT, etc.) preferred, but not required


• Previous water mitigation experience preferred, but not required


• Full time position (8 hours daily / 40 hours weekly)


• Must be able to be ON-CALL every 3rd week
