Job summary

SERVPRO of Upper Bucks, NW Hunterdon County is seeking a Restoration Technician to perform cleaning, demolition and prep work on fire and water damage projects. You will load equipment, maintain vehicles, follow safety guidelines, and communicate effectively with the restoration team to ensure efficient project completion.

You must have a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, be able to pass a background check, and be willing to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication abilities for coordinating with the team.
• Basic math and computer skills required for daily tasks.
• Ability to pass a background check and maintain safety standards.
• IPE/ICRC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform production processes, demolition and labor intensive tasks.
• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment and supplies.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work, set up staging and equipment.
• Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
• Communicate with supervisor and technicians to maintain efficiency.
• End-of-day cleanup and leave the jobsite tidy.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform production processes, demolition and other labor intensive tasks
• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
• Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times
• Communicate with restoration supervisor and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance

Position Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma/GED
• Ability to pass a background check
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime and be on call

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
• IICRC certifications preferred
