Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Install containment and safety mechanisms.

  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of fleet vehicles.
  • Participate in 24-hour on-call rotation for emergencies.

Job Description

Our Field Technicians work hard in often harsh conditions involving smoke, water, mold, sewage, etc., to help people and properties recover from damage due to disasters. The ideal candidate will enjoy physical labor, have a positive attitude, enjoy working as part of a team, and be 100% reliable and accountable.   • Installing containment and safety mechanisms
  • Installing and monitoring drying equipment/AFDs
  • Providing emergency cleaning and sanitizing services
  • Conducting controlled demolition services
  • Keeping fleet vehicles cleaned and presentable
  • Conducting preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and company equipment
  • Packing and moving client’s contents / personal property
  • Conducting Every Job Sales Activities – As directed by Lead Tech
    • Securing client reviews and supporting positive online rankings
    • Asking for key market segment referral

    • ID Agent of record
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness/ability to work some weekends and night hours as needed
  • Experience in disaster restoration preferred
  • IICRC certifications a plus
  • Satisfactory background check
Required Emergency / After Hours Assignments
  • Participates in 24 hour on-call rotation, responding to emergency losses after hours.
  • During assigned on-call shift be responsive, answering all phone calls.
Physical Requirements

The physical requirements involve body movements including walking, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists and fingers. Will stand the majority of the shift and have the ability to help with the unloading and loading of products from trucks and warehouse shelves. The senses of being able to see and hear and have full Power of speech are necessary. Lifting cases that can weigh up to fifty pounds is required. Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects on a regular basis. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to work in confined spaces.
