Job summary

Web Business Solutions Inc. seeks a C2 Training Specialist to deliver instruction on digital and analog C2 systems across MAGTF training centers. The role focuses on integrating operations, TTPs, and proper COC system usage for battalion to staff levels.

The ideal candidate provides SME guidance, develops POIs, and coordinates with Commands and staff to tailor training continuums. A Secret clearance and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of Tactical MAGTF Integration Course or equivalent preferred.
• Graduate of the Formal School Instructor Course/Basic Instructor Course.
• Graduate of the Curriculum Developers Course (preferred).
• 3 years of related work experience.
• Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction and training on operations and employment of digital and analog C2 systems and tools.
• Instructs unit staff on C2 as a warfighting function and the roles of Watch Officers and Watch Chiefs.
• Maintains Master Lesson Files and supports Program of Instruction development.
• Acts as SME, mentor, and faculty advisor during Battle Staff Training Exercises.
• Coordinates with Commands to tailor a C2 Training Continuum in support of MAGTF Training Plan.
• Mentors MISTC staff on EXCON/White Cell functions during training exercises.
• Assists with Operation Order development for Battle Staff Training Events.
• Keeps currency with the C2 METS.
• Incorporates new concepts and TTPs as resources allow.

Job purpose

Provides unit and individual training via the Command and Control Training, Education Center of Excellence (C2TECOE), and the MAGTF Integrated Systems Training Centers (MISTC) in COC Operations, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) as well as COC systems training Special Purpose MAGTF staffs, Battalion Staffs, Regimental Staffs, and individuals on the proper functioning, employment, roles and responsibilities, and COC system integration, TTPs, and concepts. The COC Specialist is the MISTC’s Subject Matter Expert for Command and Control and primary instructor for C2 courses and training events. The COC Specialist reports to and receives work direction derivatives from the Project Manager in coordination with the Academics Manager.

Duties and responsibilities

• Provides instruction and training on the operations and employment of digital and analog command and control systems and tools that support the integration of maneuver, fires, intelligence, force protection, logistics, command and control, and aviation operations in the Command and Control (C2) node.
• Provides instruction and training to Unit Staff members on Command and Control as a warfighting function, Information Management, employment of C2 Systems, and the roles and responsibilities of Watch Officers, Watch Chiefs, and Watch Standers and all members of the C2 node for Operating Force Units.
• Assists with the maintenance of Master Lesson Files, After Course Management, and Program of Instruction Development in order to support Academics Management.
• Acts as a Subject Matter Expert, Mentor, and/or Faculty Advisor during Battle Staff Training Exercises and the execution of scheduled POI Events.
• Coordinates with Commands and Staff Sections to tailor and execute a C2 Training Continuum in support of the MAGTF Training Plan (MCO 3500.11F)
• Mentors MISTC Staff on the functions of the Exercise Control (EXCON)/White Cell operations in support of the Watch Officer/Watch Chief Course and COC Battle Staff Training exercises.
• Assists with Operation Order development during preparation and execution of Battle Staff Training Events.
• Maintains currency with the C2 METS.
• Incorporates new concepts and TTPs in accordance with available resources and doctrine.
• Performs other related duties incidental to the work described.
• Provides instruction IAW approved POI.
