Job summary

MORI is seeking a Mission Video Support Technician to provide monitoring and video archival support to NASA programs from the Johnson Space Center under the eMITS contract. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or five years’ experience and US citizenship.

You will operate video servers, perform metadata entry, editing, and deliver products to customers while supporting mission-critical operations. The position is FT onsite at Johnson Space Center with an expected salary range of $71–78K.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Radio/Television/Film or related field, or five years’ experience in the television industry.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Ability to multitask and work rotating shifts including weekdays, nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Provide monitoring and video archival support for NASA programs.
  • Enter metadata into video archives using the media asset management system.
  • Operate video servers, automation systems and broadcast equipment; file management and data entry.
  • Provide back-room support for video downlink, playbacks and products.
  • Perform basic video editing and network delivery to customers.
  • Deliver physical and digital video products to customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
