Job summary

Arcfield is seeking a highly skilled MBSE Engineer to translate requirements into integrated MBSE artifacts and models. You will develop system and mission models using Cameo, create traces and architectural views, and support verification, validation, and integration across the engineering lifecycle.

You will collaborate with government stakeholders and program teams to evolve conceptual architectures into physical implementations, enabling digital thread capabilities and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or related technical discipline with 5–7 years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 3–5 years; or PhD with 0–2 years.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph and crossover requirements.
• Demonstrated MBSE experience and lifecycle processes.
• Experience with SysML/UML/UAF or comparable modeling languages/frameworks.
• Experience with requirements engineering, architecture, design, interfaces, V&V, testing, and integration.
• Experience with GEOINT space-based sensors and GIS.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess existing artifacts (RFCs, SRDs, PRDs, ICDs, CONOPS, Epics, tests).
• Develop and maintain MBSE artifacts and mission/system models using Cameo and other tools.
• Create traces, system/architecture views, functional views, sequence diagrams, interfaces.
• Apply modeling languages to represent complex architectures.
• Support requirements engineering, architecture development, design, V&V, testing, and integration.
• Apply MBSE to transition from conceptual architectures to physical implementations.
• Support data modeling, data ingest, model queries, and data structures for integrated models.
• Support test automation, simulations, and digital twins through MBSE content.
• Analyze system performance, reliability, interfaces, stability across environments.
• Integrate MBSE with broader program activities (CM, risk, readiness, schedules, Agile).
• Collaborate with engineers, program personnel, SETA/FFRDC, government stakeholders.
• Facilitate technical discussions to resolve issues and improve MBSE processes.
• Develop and communicate technical recommendations to government customers and senior stakeholders.
