Privateer Space, Inc. seeks a Mission Solutions/Software Engineer to translate complex customer mission challenges into secure, resilient software solutions.

As a technical leader within Business Development, you will bridge customer needs and Privateer’s technology, applying engineering expertise to solve challenges in classified, contested, and disconnected environments. You will shape mission software across cloud, edge, and on‑premises environments while influencing customer outcomes,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI eligibility.
• Travel up to 25%+ time.
• 3+ years applying AI tools/techniques to software development.
• Experience delivering large-scale software in complex environments.
• Strong full-stack development across application, backend, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Business Development team’s technical lead through the opportunity lifecycle.
• Engage customers to uncover operational needs and decision criteria.
• Translate requirements into differentiated solution concepts and architectures.
• Lead technical demonstrations, prototypes, and responses to solicitations.
• Coordinate with product, engineering, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and partners to build credible solutions.
