Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking engineers for the Air Dominance & Strike team to own distributed mission software—from simulation to live operations and fleet management. You will integrate with Lattice OS, coordinate vehicle fleets, and ensure secure, resilient services in a Linux/Kubernetes environment.

Expect 2–3+ years in C++, Rust, or similar languages, strong networking knowledge, and willingness to travel up to 30%. Applicants should be eligible for a U.S.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS, SE, Math, Physics or related field.
• Ability to diagnose complex networking or routing failures in multi-hop networks.
• Ability to read packet captures with tcpdump/Wireshark.
• Experience with end-to-end testing of unicast and multicast data flows.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/UDP, sockets, MTU, TLS/mTLS.
• Experience with NTP and PTP timing protocols.
• CCNA or equivalent exp.
• Comfort working in Linux
• Experience with systemd
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Experience with Git & GitHub
• 2-3+ years of experience using C++, Rust, or equivalent mid-level language
• Willingness to travel up to 30% to test in real world
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
• Track record of high ownership and bias for action
• Experience building or maintaining distributed systems (message buses, RPC frameworks, or similar)
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming models (async/await, event loops, futures)
• Comfort with Protocol Buffers and/or gRPC
• Experience with Linux’s FRR package
• Active Secret U.S. security clearance
