SpaceX in Hawthorne is seeking a Mission Integration Engineer (STARSHIELD) with Top Secret clearance to lead system trades across launch vehicles, spacecraft, and sensors from proposal through on-orbit activation.

As a core member of Mission Management, you will translate mission requirements into development criteria, serve as customer interface at reviews, and collaborate across teams to ensure end-to-end mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 1+ years of product design, development, manufacturing, integration, and/or test experience (internships and clubs apply).
• Master’s degree in engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead as a key technical leader in all development phases from proposal to flight.
• Distill customer mission requirements into actionable development criteria and verification plans.
• Serve as customer interface at meetings to develop interface requirements and test plans.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure end-to-end mission success across teams.
• Support program phases from development to on-orbit commissioning and customer education.
