MANTECH seeks a Mission Growth Specialist - Cyber to join our team in Herndon, VA (Hybrid).
The Mission Growth Specialist - Cyber will serve as the business development engine driving cyber capability expansion across our Intelligence Community (IC) and Federal Civilian accounts. Operating as a growth lead for the Cyber Practice, this high-autonomy role drives the adoption of core solutions in security engineering, defensive cyber operations, cyber physical systems defense, and cryptographic resilience by mining existing accounts, driving organic on-contract growth, and capturing new greenfield opportunities before RFPs are released.
Partner with the existing MANTECH account leads across IC and Federal civilian programs to audit tasking, identify white space, and embed specialized Cyber Practice capabilities into broader non-cyber contracts.
Drive scope expansion, incremental task order generation, and re-competes on active programs by uncovering unaddressed customer mission gaps.
Independently identify, qualify, and shape new business opportunities while executing strategic account call plans to engage federal decision-makers early in the capture cycle.
Partner closely with Cyber Solutions Engineers to pair early customer pain points with technical architectures, rapid prototypes, and differentiated proof-of-concept demonstrations.
Lead qualification gate reviews, brief executive leadership, shape RFI/RFP positioning, and defend win strategies during proposal color reviews (Pink, Red, Green).
Track CRM pipeline data, monitor competitive dynamics, and represent MANTECH at industry events to expand strategic teaming networks.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a relevant technical field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of demonstrated success driving business development, capture, or account growth within IC or Federal markets.
Proven track record as a self-starter capable of independently building pipelines, exceeding growth targets, and winning prime federal business.
Demonstrated experience executing internal cross-selling and organic contract expansion within complex, matrixed government contracting environments.
Strong technical acumen with the ability to lead high-level solution discussions with executive federal clients.
Combined background in direct program/technical execution and strategic business development.
Established network of customer relationships across IC and Federal civilian accounts.
Experience co-capturing opportunities alongside Solutions Engineers or Technical Architects to pre-sell capabilities.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
Travel may be required to support client meetings, technical demonstrations, or proposal efforts
