Job summary

FUMCWP in Winter Park, Florida, seeks a Strategic Mission Engagement & Communications Manager to advance the church’s mission through strategic storytelling, integrated communications, and volunteer engagement. You will translate vision into action, coordinating with pastors, staff, and lay leaders to strengthen discipleship and community impact.

The role leads branding and digital communications, driving continuous improvement in workflows, and aligning ministries with organizational strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• Five+ years of progressive communications experience with leadership responsibility.
• Ability to translate vision into engaging, brand-consistent messaging.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and cross-ministry collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic communications plans across platforms.
• Lead volunteers and staff to execute engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with pastors and ministry leaders to strengthen discipleship pathways.
• Oversee branding, messaging, and digital communications.
