Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• A passion for the mission of Freedom House Thrift and a commitment to serving others in a Christian environment.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers with a positive and professional attitude; operate the cash register with accuracy.
• Maintain an appealing and organized sales floor to enhance the shopping experience.
• Assist with receiving donations, sorting items, and stocking the store; communicate donation guidelines clearly to donors.
• Restock shelves and displays, ensuring merchandise is organized, attractive, and easy to shop.
• Safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds as needed for stocking and processing.
• Work closely with staff and volunteers, embodying the Christian values of Freedom House Thrift.
