i3 seeks Software Engineers to join the Huntsville team to design, develop, integrate, test, and sustain mission-critical C2 software for warfighters and customers worldwide. You will support Agile Software Teams, collaborating with systems and test engineers to build robust, secure, and scalable software solutions addressing complex logical and mathematical challenges in support of Global C2 missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and at least 1 year of relevant experience (Associate Software Engineer).
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and at least 2 years of relevant experience (Software Engineer) or a Master’s degree with 0 years of experience.
• Strong object‑oriented software development experience with Java and C++.
• Proficiency in Linux‑based development and runtime environments.
• Experience with scripting languages and tools including Bash and Python.
• Experience with modern configuration management and source control tools (Git / GitLab).
• Experience with Agile SAFe and Atlassian Agile tools including Jira and Confluence.
• Active Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain a clearance required.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications and software systems.
• Participate in SAFe Scrum teams to develop and maintain software for the IBCS program.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with diverse assignments and collaboration.
• Perform software development and upgrades in multiple languages while preserving behavior.
• Support documentation using Markdown and collaboration tools.
• Support testing activities including unit and functional testing, code coverage, and static analysis.
