Job summary

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our established cardiology program. The position offers inpatient consults, office-based care, echo/TEE, nuclear cardiology, vascular imaging, CPET, and EMR integration within a community teaching hospital.

The ideal candidate may join as faculty with opportunities at Thomas Jefferson University or Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, contributing to regional tertiary care programs

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited program.
• Completion of an accredited IM residency.
• Completion of an accredited Cardiology fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in IM & Cardiology.
• Active license to practice in Pennsylvania (PA).
• Active DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient consults and office-based clinical care, including echo, TEE, nuclear cardiology, vascular imaging, CPET.
• EMR system integration and office image viewing.
• Collaborative practice within a community teaching hospital.
• Potential for faculty appointment at medical schools.
• Participation in coordinated regional cardiology programs and STEMI services.
• Engagement with national registries and quality initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

MD or DO from an Accredited Program
Completion of an accredited IM residency program
